Lady bug

Today was Alessandra show and she was the cutest ladybug ever !! 

It is funny how she is shy when around people that she does not know and can't come up with words when asked simple questions but when she had was in the show for school, she was full of expressions and was the cutest ladybug ever !!! 

Forgot lunch

Today I decided that I needed a treat... I had a tough couple of days at work and decided to get an acai to make me feel better. I asked Craig and he decided to join me.I went to get them and when was at the store, I got a phone call from ESS...Alessandra forgot her lunch 

I tried calling my mom and Don but they did not answer so I decided that the only solution was for me to drive home, get the lunch and bring it to Alessandra. The problem is that I had 2 acais in my car and they were going to melt. 

I called Craig and asked if I could give his acai to Alessandra and he agreed.

When I arrived at ESS they called Alessandra and she came up running and said : mommy...you forgot my lunch ! 

I said I was sorry but showed her the acai ( her favorite) and she opened a huge smile... For me mommy? All of it ? I said yes and I told her that I was going to eat lunch with her. 

We ate lunch together and she told me that it was the best lunch ever.. 

After all ...seeing her and having lunch with my baby was the treat that I needed to make me feel better 

Shower talk

Almost every night when Julianna needs to take a shower, she wants me to go with her so we can talk. I know that she just wants the company but I enjoy our conversations. Today she was telling me that she had a fight with her best friend at school ( Dylan) when I asked her why, she explained that Dylan and Abbie were not talking I with Kathlyn and Julianna was trying to make them talk again. When Kathlyn went to sit by herself, Julianna was sorry and sat with her. Dylan's got upset that julianna did not sit with them . 

Julianna is very mature regarding her friends and she has a very clear idea to what it right and what is wrong .. I am very proud of you Jules.

Today I woke up feeling very thankful ... I normally don't like to brag about my husband as I don't think it is fair to do this with my friends ... but since this is my bragging blog :-), I just wanted to remember how special he is for me and for the kids.

Julianna and Alessandra, you are very lucky to have such a caring, loving and most of all fun dad. Jason is an amazing father figure... He is the guy who helps with everything around the house and at the same time, he has so much fun playing with you girls...playing his games, making up stories and playing tickle monster. 

I had to work these last 2 days and he stayed home with you... I get home, you guys are playing games, the food is ready , all the Xmas decoration is put away and the laundry is done. 

I was very lucky to fall in love with the most amazing guy and you girls are very lucky to have the most amazing dad.

1st Day of School - Julianna 3rd Grade and Alessandra Kindergarten

Great big sister

Julianna is an amazing big sister...Alessandra is very lucky to have a carrying and patient sister.

Alessandra started summer camp with Julianna and when I drop them at school, Julianna takes over and hold Alessandra hand and take care of her sister. A few teacher told me that they are very cute together and hoe they get along.
 

Julianna told me that Alessandra only wants to play with her and that sometimes she does want to play with her friends also. I talked with Alessandra and explained that she needs to try to make more friends and let Nana play with the kids from her own class.
 

At the end of another camp day I asked Julianna how did it go and Julianna told me 

- I told Alessandra to go play with her friends but when she started walking towards her class, she looked very said so I called her again :-) 

They play at home all the time ... If one wakes up before the other, they nned to wake the other up so they can play together. 

I hope they continue this way and that they became amazing friends like me and my sister 

Out of control

Out of Control OMG !!  Alessandra will not go to gymnastics.

It looked like she was going to the place she hate the most. I was so loosing my patience and I was so tired that I set down at the door of her bedroom and started to cry. 

The only amazing thing about this situation was Julianna ... Jules saw how upset that I was and decided to clean her whole room just to make me happier. She sat down next to me and said that she understand how hard it is for me but that it was good for Alessandra and that she will soon learn. At that moment, I looked at my 7 years old and saw how grown up she is now and how she is starting to understand the other side of tantrums.  I can't wait for Alessandra to understand that hurt me more than it hurt them when I need to yell or punish them...   I love them more than anything in the world
